WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE
My name is Sue Dicks and I am an honours graduate of the European
School of Osteopathy, trained in structural, functional, visceral
& cranial osteopathic techniques. I am registered with the General
Osteopathic Council, which is the statutory register formed to protect
patients by promoting excellence in osteopathic care.
I have also trained at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals and hold
a postgraduate diploma in animal osteopathy specialising in horses
and dogs. The course was conducted by Stuart McGregor, one of the
world's leading equine osteopaths.
Like many, I discovered osteopathy slightly later in life, in my
case following a riding accident. At that time my career path involved
geophysics and the search for oil. I was, however, very impressed
by the outcome of osteopathic care after years of painkillers and
thought that osteopathy must be a very rewarding profession to be
involved with. In fact I was so impressed that I decided to re-train
and returned to university for the accredited four year BSc (Hons)
course. I am also qualified in the use of myofascial dry needling
techniques using 'acupuncture' needles for additional pain relief.
I have been practising osteopathy for adults and children from
my Sundridge clinc for over 5 years, and am recognised by all major
health insurers.
I hope you find the information on this site useful and I look
forward to being of help to you or your animals.
